[/blockquote] Mistkit leaned her head down to drink from the icy cold river. She jumped in the air and hissed as a fish darted right under her nose. I have got to learn to catch those, she thought to herself. Her paws crushed the freshly fallen leaves littering the ground. She stopped and angled her ears toward the sound of a mouse’s tiny paws. She instinctively dropped to a crouch and stalked up to it slowly, leaping on it and sinking in her claws before it had the chance to run. Just because I'm young doesn’t mean I can’t take care of myself, She thought triumphantly.
