LOOKS IN DETAIL:
[SKELETAL & LEGS]Buzzardstar has a frame built for speed, and agility more than anything else. As a tom he is not very large, but more long and tall than most of the other cats of SkyClan new and old. His torso region is actually more bulkier, if just by a little due to the layer of muscle built under his coat. From there to the mid section it seems to pull into his stomach just a bit and then widen back out toward his hind leg area. Which in turn makes him look very lean and flexible like most of his clan mates were. With his lean and muscular frame it is easy for him to last awhile on long distanced journeys, or patrols as his frame allows him to tire a lot slower due to less bulk and weight on his paws. For such a lean tom cat it surprising to see him have broad shoulders. They look strong and forceful though his body is typically average in size, though they do give him a look of power and pride when he sits up straight. With his broad shoulders it shows him off as a tom not to be messed with, and he uses this little know fact to his advantage when he shifts his front legs allowing them to roll dangerously ,and show off his muscle.
Buzzardstar has relatively long legs that carry him great distances at a good pace. From the looks of them they seem sturdy and well built filled with moons of muscle building from before and now. They start more wide near the top of his legs, connecting with his body and slowly start to slim down as you go down his leg and widen again when you get to the bottom. Though his long legs seem easily tangled Buzzardstar has a good sense of balance and doesn't stumble very easily unless he really isn't paying attention to what he is doing. With long legs means longer strides allowing him to easily make the small jump from the cliff trail to his carved in den near the center of their cliff home. Because of his legs some refer to them as spider like when they see him walking around. Though they are long it does not in any way make him freakishly taller than the others, just only by an inch to half an inch. Making him tower over his clan mates very little, and still doesn't have to look to far down to talk to anyone.
[PAWS & CLAWS]Buzzardstar has the oddest paws for some one of his build and size. While his legs get thinner as they go down they widen out to his paws, which are rather large in size compared to the size they should be. Which can tend to throw him a bit off balance during a fight when he is swinging his paws around putting him at a bit of a disadvantage close up. Though if his blow hits it's target dead on then you can bet that it will do some heavy damage to his opponent. Still to be on the safe side he uses his speed and quick paws to dance around the opponent, confuse them a bit as to when he will strike, and then actually attack. Buzzardstar is best used at a distance rather than front line, but he can do both. His best move would be any type of pin down technique seeing as the weight of his mighty paws serve as a sturdy hold. When stealth is required it is a lot harder for him to take quiet steps due to his slightly oversize paws as they press down into the earth.
Like many SkyClan cats before him he holds the special trait of having long claws. His are razor sharp, mainly due to the many rocks found around SkyClan territory. That and their homes are built inside a rocky cliff side giving them easy access to claw sharpening materials. They oddly curl a bit downward like long hooks to drag prey toward them when caught. They can also be used well if dug into an opponents fur, easily piercing skin with a good amount of force behind it. They resembled a crescent moon type of shape and oddly enough are colored like them to. His claws glint a deadly white, and almost look transparent from a side view.
Buzzardstar has three different shades of color that consume his whole pelt. The main color is that of a soft ginger and makes up basically the under layer of his fur that is seen through the markings on his coat. It is a light redish color that resembles that of red sand sprinkled all over him. It is gentle to the eyes and looks subtle and warm against his frame complementing his features very nicely. The second color is that of a darker tinted ginger that is found painted across his fur and that makes up the markings found upon his coat. It resembles that of slowly burning out fire and in the sunlight it makes it light up and shows off his piercing green eyes. The last color is that of a offf white color that is very lightly tinted with a redish color. This color can be found around his mouth and circleing his eyes to set off his eyes and other features. This white can also be found on one paw tip as well as part of his muzzle but very little.
His fur length is relatively thin, which is bad during the colder seasons. Luckily his den is carved into the cliff side and will help to keep him warm during those harsher times, seeing as they have not experienced a winter here yet. Though his fur is thin he rarely has to groom it making it easy to keep nice. In warmer weather he can proudly walk around knowing that his fur was already thin to begin with and he would be a little bit cooler than others with thicker fur. What's odd is that unlike most cats his fur very lightly thickens for winter, while most get a full winter coat, his is like a sweater its decent enough, but it won't keep him completely warm. His fur does lengthen just a bit in his muzzle region giving him a slight mane.
[MARKINGS & FEEL]This tom only has one type of marking and that is his tabby stripes. These stripes range in thickness and can be a fingernail in length to a pencil line in length. It just depends on where that stripe is located on his frame. The thicker lines of slightly darker ginger stripes is found along his back. They almost looked painted on and curve toward his stomach but stopping at his sides. Slightly thinner tabby markings are found on his tail and sort of ring around it nearing the end of his tail. This markings can also be found lined across his legs but stop before the paws. The thinnest lines are found on his head and look like pale red water that dried up on his forehead and cheeks.
Despite Buzzardstar's thinner coat when you press into it, it is actually very soft and inviting. If you ran a paw along his fur you would be surprised by the soft cloud like feel of his coat. This is due to his constant care of his coat, and while doesn't have to mess with it very often he still likes to wade into the water and keep it clean.
[FACE & EYES]Much like other cat faces his head is shaped more like an acorn, minus the top part. It is rounded on the top but then slowly goes into a point at the bottom. Same with Buzzardstar's face his head is rounded at the top in a sort of arch while his cheeks thin and head down into a point. He has high cheek bones and a sharp jaw line which help to show up his features. This little detail is what adds the icing to the cake for his appearance and overall Buzzardstar is a pretty handsome tom cat. His ears are almond shaped and pointed on his head, they also round a bit at the bottom and then head up into a point. Much like the acorn idea but in reverse. The insides are a soft pink color to go with the rest of his softer colors. His nose is a lot the same though the pink color has darkened just a little into a dusty rose color rather than just a peachy pink like his ears. Giving a more manly look to his face and setting off a slightly darker tone. His whiskers are white and flow from his cheeks like spider webs and barely stop to hang over his chin, curling in toward his face ever so slightly.
His eyes are that of a dark sea green color, they are clearly green but if you look deep enough you can see the blue tint to it's color. If you look into it long enough they say you can be captivated by the color that you can get lost in them, lost at sea. Near the pupils his eyes are speckled with lighter green colors to set off his eyes making them brighter and more luminous rather than dull and dark. Very few emotions are expressed through his eyes, well that he allows to show, but you can bet every emotion can be seen easily with his contrasting colors.
PERSONALITY:
[ASSERTIVE & LOYAL]Buzzardstar knows how to sound assertive and get cats to listen to what he has to say. It could be due to the fact that he has a really scary angry voice that stops prey in its tracks just at the sound of it. When he is upset he can have one of those voices that make you stop and back down. Though it is a rare occasion to see Buzzardstar that upset that he would have to use that tone of voice. Usually he just has this stern voice that sounds more like a warning, and even that can usually get the cat or cats in trouble to behave at least a little better than they were. He knows how to take charge in a situation, a good quality he fails to see in himself. When something happens he reacts he doesn't sit there and wait for something to change, he shows initiative. The only time he will take a few moments to sit back and really discuss an issue is if it is a delicate situation. One that requires a more level head in the matter rather than a quick action. He has a strength in his voice that gives him a regal kind of appearance, and many treat him as such when they listen to the tone of his voice when he takes control.
No one can doubt this tom cats loyalty, he would never let his clan mates down. He puts all of them before himself and cares greatly for their lives, and well being. He believes strongly in the warrior code, even at a young age and even back then he swore to live by it. He breathes the code, though he knows that in the most drastic situations it can be stretched. He is not one of those toms that sits back and tries to get by with as little work as possible. Quite the opposite he likes going on patrols and bringing back prey for his clan, even if he ends up working himself a little to hard at times. In his mind his Clan is worth every second of his time out there because without them there would be no Clan or code at all.
[WISE & CUNNING]Growing up Buzzardstar always had a sense of wisdom about him. He always could see things in the most wide perspective and come up with some intriguing thoughts on the matter. Even at a young age, senior warriors were baffled by his insight on a variety of things. It could be on training, and just life in general he usually had something to say on the matter. Even to this day you can find him saying odd quotes, that do relate to the situation at hand. He is the type of tom to really make you think about things before settling on a certain belief or assumption and he secretly prides himself in that quality. Though he is not in the least boastful as any good thought upon himself is shot down moments later when he thinks of his faults.
