His paws moved fast, hitting the soft meadow ground, and pushing him faster and faster and faster, until he had gone as fast as he could while having no tail to keep his balance as he ran. The apprentice could feel the wind run through his face, and his brown eyes. glistened with excitement He was running with out falling over on his back because of his missing tail! Th Apprentice opened his mouth and let out a victory laugh, which of coarse, he made sure it sounded as manly and warrior like as he could, after all, he was going to be an amazing warrior for his clan one day, she he would have to work on his lovely laughter, it should give chills to all the female cats.
Compared to other cats, the brown and white tabby tom would probably look very slow, and he felt slow, but simply running around that beautiful day, made him feel super fast, as fast as his Leader and also his mentor, Maskedstar, who, Berrypaw was very proud to be the apprentice of. The apprentice hoped that despite his loss of memory, and missing tail that slowed him down a lot, he would be very helpful to the clan, if not leader someday. However his brown eyes had missed a small dip in the tall grass of the meadow, and the tabby Berrypaw stumbled, skidded around a little, until he fell flat on his face. "Ooooow...." he groaned unhappily, lifting his head from a mouthful of dirt, "Oh, mouse-dung..." he cursed, spitting out as much dirt as he could, and gathered to his small white paws. "What was I thinking...Warriors don't trip. How could I even do that?" he frowned a little, "I shouldn't get so distracted, stupid Berrypaw...stupid stupid." Well, whatever. It was just a small mistake, it wasn't like he was REALLY a warrior, otherwise Berrypaw would be very disappointed with himself, and super embarrassed, Of coarse, maybe nobody would notice. Because he was just so cool like that, and a great warrior. However, for now, as much as Berrypaw didn't like it, he was just a silly apprentice and needed his running practice. "Stupid tail." he frowned, turning his head a little, brown eyes staring mischievously at his stub. "Grawr!" he yelled, and started to chase at his tail, rear end running away from his front end, as he spun is circles, snapping his jaws to catch the tail "Get back here!" the tom giggled, spinning in more circles, he stumbled a little, feeling dizzy, but continued to chase his stub of a tail.
