PERSONALITY: vivien is a very strange cat. from a distance, she can look nice, normal and sweet cat. that is exactly the opposite of what she is. yes, she can be sweet, but she is usually not very sweet and is actually quite mean. it's not that she doesn't like other cats, because really she does, but other cats just don't like her. she has had very bad experiences with others in the past, so she just tends to stay away from them. she wants to have friends, but the way she acts is so strange to other cats that they usually just tease her and end up chasing her away. she often wishes that she could just be a normal cat that has a normal life.
vivien is slightly crazed. she has hallucinations, often seeing the dead and speaking with them. no one knows if she really does this, not even she knows, but she does tell of the future. though her predictions are just slightly off, she usually gets fairly close to what will happen. she says that when she speaks to the dead, they tell her of what is to come. sometimes they tell her in tricky riddles that if she wants to know the future, she will have to figure out the riddle. she often leaves these alone. a lot of the time, though, the spirits tell her directly about what is to come. most don't believe her until what she says has happened, and then they wish that they would have believed her.
vivien can never focus her eyes on something unless it's something that only she can see. if you are talking to her, her eyes will wander often, and if she sees one of the dead, then she will more likely listen to what they have to say instead of listen to you. she must always have her backside against something, though, for she fears some of the dead. she fears that some of them come from satan and are there to kill her. this is another reason why her eyes are never focused. she is watching for evil. she is almost always scared, too. she is always alone and spend most of her life talking to the dead.

HISTORY:(optional) She was born a stray, for as soon as her mother's owners found out that their cat was pregnant, they put her outside. Starlight, Vivien's mother, didn't like living outside in the cold backyard, so she jumped the short fence and ran. Starlight made it through the town that she was living in, almost getting hit by a few cars before she finally found a place to stay. It was an old, abandoned warehouse. A few months later, Vivien and her siblings were born in the warehouse. There were nine of them in all.
At the age of three months, the kits were walking, seeing, and even playing with each other. Nothing was tense and none of them were unhappy. All seemed to be going well. And then they started showing up. Vivien was pretending to be in a war with her sister, Hope. She was winning, when all of a sudden, she just froze. Her eyes were focused on the black figure moving in the shadows. Her sister just stared at her for a moment and then she caught what Vivien was saying. They're coming back to get you. They're coming. Watch you're back, never trust, and never let them come near you. She kept whispering these words over and over, knowing that whatever was lurking in the shadows was giving them to her. Her sister scrambled out from under her and ran to their mother saying that Vivien had gone crazy, and, in a way, she had.
Winter came and most of Vivien's brother and sisters didn't make it. Many of them died from the cold and lack of food. By spring, there were three of them left: Vivien Leigh, Hope, and Derby. Vivien wasn't too sad about her siblings dying, for the dead had already talked to her about it happening. Since she had first seen the dead, she sat in a corner and whispered to them. Her siblings and mother thought that she had gone crazy and was whispering to herself, but she knew that that wasn't true, for she was whispering to her dead siblings. Ignazio, her brother, was the one she talked to most, all of the others rarely showed themselves to her.
When she was two years old, her mother died. ignazio had told her that their mother would be dying soon, but anyone could see that she was not doing well. Vivien Leigh and her siblings said farewell to each other and they went their separate ways. It was hard to leave her living siblings behind, but she knew that it was probably for the best. Soon after they split up, though, she was captured by the humans. She didn't hate humans, she had just never been around them. At first, she hisses at them and tried to bite them when they got near her, but she soon learned that they weren't that bad. They gave her food and she didn't have to catch her own. She soon became a loving cat and was adopted into a caring family.
That caring family didn't know much about her, though. As soon as she got in their house, she found a nice corner and sat down in it. All the family would hear was the faint meows of Vivien, but in Vivien's world, she was whispering to her mother. Her mother was ashamed that she let the humans take her in. She was ashamed that Vivien had started to like the humans. That was all Vivien needed. She never moved from the corner, and whenever someone tried to get near her, especially if she was eating, she would hiss at them. Then one day when they let her outside, she didn't come back in. No matter how many times they called her, she wouldn't come in. She escaped that night by finding a loose plank in the fence. She pulled it open with her paw and squeezed herself through. She ran far away from that house that night, her mother was by her side and she was very proud.
Vivien Leigh is now a lonely stray/rouge, and she doesn't really mind because that's really all she's ever been.
