Shaggyfur I need just your body baby, from dusk till dawn Every few moments the she-cat got up to adjust how she was sitting, then she'd flick her ear, yawn or lick a paw. I just need to ask Silverstar, and I'm sure she'll understand. I'm sure no other cat has asked to have the little one as their apprentice. I mean I've never thought of having an apprentice before. It's quite an unnerving idea. But she'd be so dissapionted if I didn't even try. So, I guess I'll have to. Oh, but what if I'm a bad mentor because I'm not clanborn. What if i don't teach her right. But other cats might mock her for being not clanborn... I know that some of the apprentices, and even my own mentor gave me a hard time over that. I can't let her go though that. It would be wrong. I'd feel so bad about it. So would she. I don't have much of a choice. It's the right thing to do. Witherkit would be overjoyed if it turned out this way. Shaggyfur sighed and stopped her twitching and pacing. Time to get this over with. With a bright mew and a sunny look she padded up to Silverstar, tail up in a friendly greeting. "Hello Silverstar." She mewed brightly. "How is your day going? It's quite nice isn't it?" She asked. The blue and cream she-cat paused and licked her paw, drawing it over her ear as she comforted herself by grooming. "I was thinking, have you picked a mentor out for umm... Witherpaw?" she asked. "I-if not. I-I think I'm ready. I think it would be a good fit, I know that Witherpaw would like it. And really, I want an apprentice. But not just any apprentice. She'd be the best of the best for me. And I'd be best for her."

As the sun rose above the horizon, a silver-and-black she-cat stirred in her dark den. It was instinct and habit that roused the sleeping leader, as no sunlight ever touched the inside of her den. It was dark and cool, and she loved it. Rising from the soft moss of her nest, she stretched and shook scraps of moss from her fur. She crawled out of the hollow stump and looked around at the awakening camp. "Hello Silverstar. How's your day going? It's quite nice, isn't it? Silverstar turned at the sound of the voice, nodding hello to Shaggyfur. "Hello, Shaggyfur. The day is starting off nicely so far. And how are you?" Silverstar sat down, curling her tail around her paws. "I was thinking, have you picked a mentor out for umm... Witherpaw? I-if not. I-I think I'm ready. I think it would be a good fit, I know that Witherpaw would like it. And really, I want an apprentice. But not just any apprentice. She'd be the best of the best for me. And I'd be best for her." Silverstar listened patiently for Shaggyfur to get her point across. Once the she-cat had finished, the MistClan leader nodded. "Very well. If you feel it is best for the both of you, then I will consider it. I shall talk to Witherkit later about it."

Shaggyfur I need just your body baby, from dusk till dawn Shaggyfur smiled at her leader. "Oh that's wonderful." she mewed brightly, her ears perking up and her eyes happy. "Oh, me?" I'm fine. I really am." She purred. "It's quite lovely and warm. Much better than that horridness of Leafbare, and so much dryer than newleaf. I don't like having to get soaked to even walk from end of the camp to the next." The she-cat smiled more and flicked one ear back. The she-cat flicked her long tail and then yawned and licked a paw, carefully inspecting it. She looked up at the soft pink pad of her foot. One ear flicked forward as she listened to Silverstar. "Oh, she and I have talked." Mewed "That's why I came to you." She paused and smiled. "But you should talk to her too. You know that's a good idea I guess." She purred happily. "I guess that's your job as leader." she smiled. "So..." She mewed. "Well. I'll see you soon." She mewed and trotted off. "Talk to you later, and thank you for listening. I'm actually pretty excited about this."

Many of you may have already noticed that Dragonadopters main site was temporally down . DrA may be offline/slow for a while, while Darcara and Thaz are working on some server issues. Expect server issues throughout the next 24 hours.
We apologize for the unexpected downtime.
Updates 20/04/10: Unfortunately downtime is going to be longer than expected, they are still working on getting DrA back on line as soon as they are able. I will keep you up to date with any progress when we have some more news.
21/04/10: We're back up and running! Thaz and Darcara have worked their magic and got the servers back up, and the game running again. There may be a few bugs, please report any you may find on the usual Game Bugs board
25/04/10: Unfortunately we're experiencing downtime problems again. Darcara is looking into it and will hopefully have us back up and running ASAP Fixed
