LOOKS IN DETAIL: Fawnstep was named Fawnkit after her deer-like coloring and the dark brown, almost black strip of fur striped across her spine. She is a very spindly, lithe she-cat, not much to contend with when referring to size. She seems delicate and ready to blow away in the wind, though she's actually more sturdy on her paws than she lets on. Her face is soft featured and gorgeous to look at, and her fur is very, very short and feminine. She is never seen with a mean look on her face - except in battle, of course, where she looks truly warrior-like.
Since her body is so small and her hips and shoulders are narrow, Fawnstep is extremely light on her paws, thus the warrior name she was given. She is well-known for her ability to sneak up on almost anything and anybody unnoticed, and she blends in so well with her environment that a predator's only hope in finding her would be with its sniffer. For her to miss out on a catch while hunting is rare and usually open happens in leaf-bare, when she no longer has any of the advantages of new-leaf.
Her voice is gentle, sometimes timid and soft-spoken. Her yellow eyes are always round with very little negativity ever shown in them, since she's such a sweetie.
PERSONALITY: Soft-spoken and not one to argue, Fawnstep finds it much easier to walk away from confrontations and be a people-pleaser instead of standing her ground. She loves unconditionally and cares for others, and some may take advantage of that when they need to. She can be timid when under pressure, but as long as she concentrates on the task at hand, it's hard to ever notice she's nervous. When it comes to Clan loyalty and border skirmishes, fighting to protect her clanmates is the only encouragement she needs to find the bravery to fight. She will use her speed and small size to her advantage during battle and targets the largest warrior in the enemy ranks.
Fawnstep never usually has a negative word to say about anyone, as she is very fair and understanding. She is fine with taking orders, just doesn't like giving them. Many cats can get bored with her quiet personality and she often goes unnoticed during the time to share tongues, but there are a few chosen who recognize what a kind-hearted, lovable she-cat this great huntress is. She is a comforter to the mourning, with a tongue that knows how to heal with words. She's the type to wake up and see a warrior shivering in the cold, and wordlessly scrapes up her own moss to help warm them, even if it means she has a cold night ahead. And unless you ask about it, you may never know it was her who did it, as she won't say a word.
