LOOKS IN DETAIL: Loner born Softkit was not named for coat or eye colour, but for the her coat's texture. This she-cat is slightly built and has a small delicate muzzle. Her eyes are bright amber and are more round than slanted. Her fur is both brown and black, however the black is concentrated to her head whilst the brown dominates the rest of her lithe body. She has long fur, and a good build for a cat who is going to be spending most of her time swimming. Despite her delicate build Softkit has somewhat large, and very furry paws. She has a long feathery plumed tail that is more often than not, carried straight up in the air.
When Softkit moves, she always keeps one eye to the sky, and can be quite jumpy when anything like hawks or eagles pass over. However, aside from that, she acts and looks like a well balanced young kitten.
PERSONALITY:
Softkit is a quiet cat who seems to love to listen. She'll sit at the elder's den and just listen for hours on end. She's quiet, and doesn't speak much. In fact she only really opens her moth when she's talked to, and then she doesn't say anymore than she just needs to. Because of this other cats dismiss her as stupid, shy or rude.
However, despite any gossip, none of these theories are true. The young she-cat is far from shy, rude or stupid. She is simply the sort of cat who's waiting for the right time to speak. She values the importance of words, and also of silence. If she's not needed to talk, she won't. When she does talk, however, she shows the depths of wisdom that come from being a good listener and a deep thinker. Softkit's tendancy to prefer to listen as opposed to speak makes sure that she picks up on things that other cats who are quick to speak would never learn. The fact that many cats dismiss her as slow headed also serves her. They have no fear of talking right in front of her, as if she doesn't exist.
