PERSONALITY: He's a very brave apprentice, he'd be willing to run into any sort of battle, even if it's with older warriors who have much more experience. He doesn't have much a sense of who's stronger than him, he feels like he can be put into any fight, and be just fine. He's a bit clumsy however, finding it very hard to balance himself with out a tail, and just a small furry stub. When running he doesn't run as fast as the others in fear of not finding his balance, and falling over in dire situations. He is very adventurous and it doesn't take long for him to convince himself to try to sneak over another clans borders and run back to safety on his side, just for the thrill of it. Though he's very social and friendly, and a bit of a trickster, Berrypaw isn't very considerate of other cats, in fact, he often will leave another cat behind because he forgot about that cat. He also has a strange disliking for cats that are cowards, thinking that they're just being over dramatic, his motto is "I'm not afraid of anything!" which is pretty foolish, but he does believe he isn't afraid of anything, which isn't entirely true. In the face of true danger, Berrypaw freezes on the spot, too afraid to move. He has difficulties sometimes, wishing that he had a family other than his sister to speak of, like other cats do, in fact, he wished he could just remember about everything in his past.

Berrypaw honestly woke up not remembering a darn thing about his past. He was just awake in a medicine cat den, his wounds being healed by a stranger cat, who was much older than him. The medicine cat told him not to stand up, and that his wounds were healing, it was only then that the pain actually sowed through, and he tried to relax as the Medicine cat tried to fix him up. When the cat tried to ask Berrypaw about where he came from, as much as Berrypaw tried to think about it, he admitted that he could not remember a thing. He would always turn to lick himself and cringe unhappily, for Berrypaw, was missing a tail. All that was left was a bloody little stump. When he healed, it was soon decided that Berrypaw would be brought into Breezeclan as an apprentice, to which he was very grateful for. Finally though, when he was named Berrypaw, the apprentice had a great sensation of knowing who he was, and having a name that people could actually call him.

Okeys, Dragonadopters is now on a better server which can handle all the huge traffic we've been getting.

We're sorry you had to wait so long to get back on the site, but we've had some setbacks with the transfer. No worries though, all your dragons are safe and fine.
Though you might wanna feed them and visit them, it's been some time and they probably got a bit lonely.


In other news:

As you may have noticed, we have some new boards on the site. We'll be moving some topics around till we manage to put them all in the right spot, since there's new boards in the General section.

Also we've added a Fan Fiction / Fan Art Board, in which you can post all your Dragonadopters fanfic stories, artwork, pictures, banners, avatars and links to fansites you've made.

Please post in the correct boards, since we have lotsa new boards now.


There have been major changes in the Adoptables Lair, so you better read more about it in the new sticky topic here in the news section!
And you might wanna read the updated Introduction [READ BEFORE POSTING], because of some changes in the Adoptables Lair.


Thaz will still work on game bugs and errors as well as some suggestions, like the marketplaces and ranklist. He'll try to work on other suggestions as well, just as long as they're not BIG ideas. So please, suggest only those ideas that are realistic and we'll see if they're good for the game. ^^

Also this weekend I'll probably work on the FAQ and Game Guide. Since lots of members seem to want detailed answers, I'll add some additions to the FAQ and Guide. Hopefully it will help answer some of the more common questions and some more technical questions. ^^
Oh and topics in the help section asking about things that are already answered in the FAQ and Guide will be deleted. Please read them before asking a question that's already answered.

Game Suggestions Board has been closed for a while. We'll be dealing with current bugs and errors before proceeding on some suggestions for the game.

Dragonadopters is designed to be a game and community for dragon and fantasy lovers.

The adoption feature allows you to adopt and care for your own cutie. To start you off you will receive your own personal dragonpage with one dragon egg. You will have the possibility of adopting more dragons later on once you have proved you are a responsible dragon owner by raising it. You’ll have a choice between 11 different dragon species: Western, Eastern, Furdragon or maybe you feel like adopting a Wyvern, Lizardus or Dino? You may even wish to adopt one of our newest additions, the Canidragon.

Each species can be combined with one of the different types of elements: Fire Furdragon, Water Wyvern, Water Dino... all combinations are possible, it’s your choice. You can choose the element of your dragon once it hatches. Watch your dragon grow over time from Level 1 - 110, from Egg all the way to Ancient Dragon. Every stage and species features its own little animation!

You can keep your dragon happy by visiting and letting other people visit him, also you’ll need to remember to feed him by going to your dragonpage. The more people that visit him, the faster your dragon will grow (daily cap). In addition, you can link your dragon to forums or your own personal pages. Your work and care will be paid off with the resources your dragon will give you. You’ll be able to create items which you can use to progress in the game, trade with others, or customize your dragon. Each species has got its own items. The items can have special effects on your dragon, so start collecting!

Server is Online

After a bit less than 2 hours the server is now back online. I took care of some server health issues that should be gone now.

In addition I made improvements in the server performance. You should start to notice it already or at least in the next hours.

Working on the server

During the next week there might be short (max 5 minutes) outages of the server. The server might not be reachable or you will be redirected to an offline page or the forum. I'm working on the database and the e-mail system.

In addition there will be again a downtime next weekend. But this one will be rather short compared to the previous one. I don't expect it to be longer than 3 hours. If everything goes really well the server might even be back online in 30-60 minutes. The downtime will start on Saturday the 15th of December at 8:00 AM (GMT+1). If you're lucky, you won't even notice it.

We want to move forward with Dragonadopters and for this some changes to the base system of the server are necessary. I'm sorry to separate you again for some hours from your dragons.
