If I'm honest, I didn't like it at all.

To put it simply and short, the writing felt much too simplistic and choppy to me, and there were WAY too many dog terms, especially for a lot of words that dogs should know, especially if they know the word mall. :/ The plot is pretty interesting, and I guess I'll still give it a try, but I didn't like this excerpt very much at all, personally. I think that overall, the idea of getting new authors to write a new "Erin Hunter" series, that of course isn't really by Erin Hunter, was just... Not a good one.
