I actually like this, despite popular opinion.
I needed an animal fiction with a writing style unlike the Erins. The short, firm style suits me well. Sure, I don't know what some of the words mean, but I'd rather that than all "human" words. But, I hope there are more characters soon. A book about a loner dog doesn't quite catch my eye as an exciting read as say, one like interactive warriors.
