Two Turns ago, and the people of two Weyrs were at each other's throats. Literally. And then, one thing tipped each Weyr and the frist ever War on Pern began. It didn't last long though. Many were killed, most were injured. Those that remained, left their old Weyrs and found a new site for a new Weyr.
The remaining Riders and Weyrfolk, and even the Holders, left their old lives behind to begin anew. Once they settled into their new home, the tension was so palpable it could've been cut with a blade. After much debate from both sides, a name was finally settled on. Taking a few letters from the opposing Weyrs, they came up with the name Valyrium. And that is what the new Weyr became known as, Valyrium Weyr.

The Young Heroines clutch has hatched bringing with it a new Queenpair in the form of Vay and Gold Athisath. The Rouge Roar of Thunder egg produced a rather interesting White dragon that seems to have the ability to change its gender. What wonders will come from these new riders? And what will the Rogues do now that Jhadith is defying them?
Lessons continue for both the Villian's Wherling Class and the survivors of Shadow-Silver Voradith's Dreams Come True Weyrling Class. There is a dragon clutch on the sands, another Queen is in the air, and tensions are at an all-time high.
Then there's the appearence of the mysterious creatures known as Valkin. Only three have appeared in the weyr....WAIT!! What's going on at the Candidates Barracks? Another Valkin has appeared, but what does he want?
Why not join and find out? Or better yet, join and take part in Valyrium Weyr's unfolding History!
In a terrible clash between two weyrs, many lives were lost. Out of the ashes those that survived were barely enough to make a single weyr once again. Tensions still ride high and disagreements are common. Two turns have passed since the great war finally reached its climax and many things have changed.
The first change came in the appearence of a Blue mutation. Always female these dragons were called Violets and another mutation, this one from Whites, came in the slightly larger Silvers. The final mutation came when a queen egg revealed a stunningly dark dragoness. This 'Shadow Queen' was capable of clutching and became a lesser queen of the weyr. When the Shadows mutated and came out male they were called Blacks. Then the most suprising change came when a distinctly orange shaded female dragonet was born. These were Coppers and very outgoing and different from many before them.
Now adays, tensions are at an all-time high and none can quite seem to agree on much of anything. The most distinct of these disagreements comes in the form of the new weyr's name. To this day it remains nameless with each side calling it something different.
What will happen with this fledgling weyr remains to be seen. But with no real leaders and none within agreeing, things look like they could take a turn for the worst.
In a strange turn of events, the riders of the merged weyr finally agreed on a way to decide the name. By merging the names of the two weyrs that came before, a name was decided and agreed upon. The weyr was now Valyrium Weyr!
The young weyr faced its deadliest hardship during Shadow-Silver Voradith's hatching. Rogue riders attacked the sands and killed many of the eggs. Five have managed to survive and now thrive in the weyr. But darker times are ahead and the Rogues aren't finished yet.
In a suprising turn of events, the Gold-Fusha Rogue Queen brought one of her own eggs - the last surviving of its clutch - to lay with Gold-Bronze Ranyth's own clutch of 8 eggs. What could this unusual egg mean to the future of the weyr?
Ranyth's clutch has hatched and brought with it new hope for the future in the form of the beautiful Gold Athisath. All survived this round and spirits are high all around. The rogue egg hatched a rare White dragon, one that seems destined to do great things.
But trouble is on the horizon, and there's no way the Rogues will let Jhadith's treachery slide without some form of retaliation. But when it will come or how remains to be seen.
