There was a reagal air that suddenly entered the vincinity. A tom strutted forward at a slow but proud pace, his head held high and his ears flicking which and every way in a sign that he was listening to every little sound around him. It was obvious by the way his tail stood straight up and how his confidence was streaming off of him in waves that he was a natural born leader.
Some would argue that No, he was not a good leader, just a bossy fool. Then there were the more educated ones who understood that this tomcat was a force to be reckoned with, not an ignorant fool at all.
Crowstar knew his way around MarshClan territory like he knew the milk-scent of his mother. He hadn't been leader for long, since the Clans had been established very shortly ago. He was finding it hard, though, to adopt the idea of heavenly ancestors watching over them, the idea that Cloudstar had preached about before he died. He didn't quite understand it anyway, why was Cloudstar so keen on preaching about them even though it was supposedly the fault of StarClan for chasing them out of their original territory? Still, the idea of cats so powerful that they could grant one nine lives was intriguing. He longed to gain some sort of favortism with them, if they existed, so as to keep his new Clan safe and to have the nine lives they offered.
He knew that the Clan life was what he had been searching for, all of his lonely life. He still mistrusted the other Clans, wouldn't dream of befriending the likes of them. No, Crowstar planned on becoming the best leader MarshClan would ever know. He'd do whatever it took to make MarshClan a proud Clan. What was a warrior without pride?
Sitting back on his haunches, the black-pelted tom began to stare at his own handsome reflection in the waters of the Rainbow Brook. He felt content at that moment, and began to lose himself while he groomed the white patch of fur on his broad chest. Yes, there was nothing stopping him now.

MALINA:: the loving All she could feel the pain, grief, and fear. Pain that was starting the spread through her body like wild fire, actually it felt just the same. She had developed a fear over the past few days and the temperature felt so high that she couldn't even think straight. The pain was almost unbearable and yet she still managed to put one dainty paw in front of the other. Trying to find something it seemed, though she had no clue what. Didn't cats in her situation just embrace death and lay down to wait for death? Well why wasn't she? What did she really have to live for now. Them? a voice in her head answered and she yearned to know who them was, the fever was practically frying her brain of all thoughts but walking and breathing. She paused for a moment to shiver the chills rake down her spine like claws on bark.
Her ears flattened to the sides looking kind of goofy as ears usually fell straight back and not to the sides. Her vision blurred for a brief moment before her paws began moving again. Her tail didn't even swish it feel dead behind her, dead. A word she could not escape, a fate she could not escape, and yet here she was alive. How could that be? Still she ignored the first feeling she had and focused on the grief she felt. She felt a strong sense of loss that she couldn't place her paw on. She felt only half full if that made any sense at all. She longed for something , she longed for them. Pausing she heard movement not to far off and turned her head to see a black and white tom sauntering around. While she was not on their land she was still pretty close, it was then the fear intensified, and yet relief lingered at the edge of her thoughts.
Would he kill her? What would it feel like to die? Was it like sleeping or much more? Still the fear of that unknown set in and the fear of being ripped to shreds, and yet she yearned for that to. She shook her head, the sickly slender yet still beautiful female, turned to look back at the tom. How could she be that sick minded? Maybe because you are sick? the voice added and she tried to take a step forward, but it was then that the grey pelted she-cat saw her world blur and then go black as her body fell to the ground. Her chest still rose and fell very weakly.

It was probably quite foolish for Crowstar to have vainly been staring so intently at his own rippling reflection. In a few moments he realized that, when he stopped grooming himself to turn and face the sound of the thumping body that fell to the ground close by. It had startled him greatly, causing his fur to bristle instinctively and his fangs to be bared.
He could only stare a moment or two at the body lying in the dirt before fear crept into his heart.
The smell of this strange cat hit his nostrils and his palate like the claws of an enemy. This cat had a terrible case of blackcough, and she was probably moments away from dying. Crowstar stared dumbly at her face, clearly the features of a beautiful young she-cat who should've been capable of fighting off such a horrible disease. Blackcough was only for the elderly, infants, and weak.
"You..." he croaked, taking a step forward. He had no real thought process at the moment and was simply stunned by the appearance of this she-cat, who had stumbled out of nowhere. Was she even conscious?
"You're....dying," he whispered, daring to take a few steps forward. He sniffed at her body once again, and could smell only the disease, little more than that. Pity grabbed at him, and it surprised even himself. He had seen death before, but never had he seen such a sight that so disturbed him such as this one. She was too beautiful and young to be gasping for breath.
After a few moments he realized she was probably unconscious. Immediately Crowstar looked away and began considering all of the possible options. He could sit with her for the next few hours, and be with her when she died. He felt obligated and, truly, unable to leave her lying there like that. He felt that he would regret it, for a long, long time. So he went ahead and fearlessly curled up beside her, no longer thinking of the disease she was carrying but of how he could help this poor lost soul. She felt terribly hot and sticky against his own pelt.
He could send for his medicine cat, Hazelfur. But he'd have to leave the she-cat alone for a while. It was likely her only chance at survival, to see a medicine cat soon, but for now, she needed a real place to rest and instant remedies, and fast. She probably only had hours, or maybe minutes. He tried to think of something to bring down her fever, first off. He was no medicine cat and had only observed his own, Hazelfur, for probably four moons. That wasn't time to learn much...
But he had seen borage used on a hot kit once before. What did it look like? Just a green leaf, but it had a dinstintive smell. Crowstar stood up and padded, reluctantly, away from the she-cat, and starting scouring the undergrowth nearby. His nostrils flared and sniffed at every bushel of leaves he passed by. None of them seemed to be borage.
So he searched deeper in the forest nearby. It took a while, but he found the leaf and recognized its scent right away. The scent of borage. He knew, thankfully, that most herbs should be chewed up and swallowed by the ailing. But as he grabbed a mouthful and wandered back towards the dying cat, he wondered if she'd be able to swallow in her state.
"StarClan help me," he murmured to himself, staring at her face. He chewed the leaves quietly into a rich pulp, savoring their juices. Interesting flavor. Then, he spat them near her muzzle and just stared, feeling mouse-brained and helpless.
"This is stupid! Wake up! Wake up or you'll die," he growled, prodding her cheek with a forepaw. "Don't you have something to live for?!"
At that moment, Crowstar silently asked himself why he even cared.

MALINA:: the loving The grey pelted female could feel the burn all around her skull, her eyes were shut and yet she could still hear some things going on around her. The sound of the breeze through the grass blades until nothing.
Though the nothing did not last for long and suddenly the sound of running water was in her earshot. Her eyes opened to see a world full of dim twilight and sparkling starlight. Her sun colored eyes glanced around in shock and alarm as she stumbled to her paws. The sickness was completely gone and her body felt light and agile as ever. She could take in a deep breath without wheezing or feeling nauseous, it was amazing. Was this what death was like? Her tail now could swish behind her with her emotions, her ears were perked and her body no longer was damp with sweat. She could stretch out with ease without getting dizzy and laying down. She gave a soft purr of delight until she heard the paw steps of another.
She froze and turned her head, completely surprised by what she saw. Mo--mother! she mewed her voice faltering a bit as she saw the gorgeous silver female before her. The she-cat smiled and nodded, she was so graceful. Tell me, am I dead? as soon as the words left her mouth she was surprised by how much she wanted it to be true. To be rid of the pain and sickness she had fought off for so long. The silver female took a few steps forward. Almost, but not quite. You are not meant for this place just yet. she mewed and Malina felt her face fall, the delight she had felt was gone completely. What do you mean? You can't send me back to the pain! she practically wailed, her mother turned and flicked her tail for her to follow.
Malina followed catiously as the silver female lead her to a small pool, in it she could see herself. Rather her body and the tom from before sniffing at her. But then he laid beside her and she flinched looking at her side as she felt the warmth against her. You see? You are still tied to that world, and we have more plans for you. You must go back now, a fulfill those plans. with that said her mother took a few steps back and the world started to fade.
Her paw twitched slightly as the pain slowly started to flow back into her battered body. In what felt like moments something was spit by her, she could smell the scent of plant thought she did not know which one it was. Still her face allowed her to lick it up and in moments the fever was subsiding. The relief of even the one symptom going away was almost like heaven. Though any relief was gone when a paw was poking at her face, she squeezed her eyes mumbling something before she let her eye lids flutter open. They revealed her bright gold eyes before she flicked her gaze up at the tom who was yelling something at her. "N---no need to shout." she coughed before being able to only lift her head, she glanced around at her surroundings. Still she rested her head back on the floor, it took a lot of energy just to keep it up. "Who.... who are you? she asked softly.

Considering latest events that my moderators informed me, users have been deleting their posts after they made a violation so mods cannot catch them in the act. Furthermore, they made it seem like someone was double posting, which led to that person getting a warning when in fact they did nothing wrong.
Also users have been removing topics, like some random garbage or useless spam. We put a stop to this now. Like many other forums, users aren't able to delete their posts and topics after they posted them. We have no implemented this procedure.
Users are not able to delete their own posts or topics once they have been posted on the forum.
I hope this won't cause you any problems, but usually not many people use the remove button at all and many are not even aware of it. Since it's not a really needed function, users are no longer able to remove their posts/topics once posted.
This will solve a lot of our problems and improve the forum.
As usual, keep reading the news to stay well informed on the game and forum progress and announcements. Dragonadopters 2.0 is proceeding well, however I'll note that one rumor flying around is not true. New version will NOT have new species. We'll put new species sometime after 2.0 has been released, considering we're making huge changes to the game, we don't have time for new species at the moment. Don't worry, there will be new species in the future.
On another side note, the rules were tweaked recently a lot. You better read for the updated changes.
Thanks for reading.
